How to pay by scanning a QR code

Make a QR payment

   Open the QR payment scanner in GoTap.

2. 2

   Allow camera access if your phone asks for permission.

3. 3

   Point the camera at the recipient’s GoTap QR code.

4. 4

   Enter the amount if requested and check the recipient and payment details.

5. 5

   Authorise the payment using the method requested in the app.

6. 6

   Check the result and transaction record before making another payment.

If the code will not scan

• Make sure the entire code is visible and the camera lens is clean.
• Move away from glare and hold the phone steady.
• Check camera permissions in your phone settings.
• Ask the recipient to display their current GoTap QR.
